This presentation will elaborate a thorough diagnostic sequence for comprehensive rehabilitation. Emphasis will be placed on diagnostic modalities that should be employed to create a customized treatment plan. This lecture is designed to help the practitioner with evidence-based concepts of treatment plans that rely heavily on comprehensive diagnosis. A decision tree will be illustrated with objective analysis of esthetic and functional demands of the patient and the formulation of a rational plan would be facilitated. Fundamentals of restorative diagnosis with contemporary biological and technological factors will be reviewed.
