Inflammation of any source influences a myriad of inflammatory-related systemic diseases. Examine the relationship between periodontal diseases and systemic conditions including diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular and respiratory disease, as well as puberty, pregnancy, menopause and osteoporosis.
