2020 Star of the South Dental Meeting

“Back to the Future”

Chairman’s Message

On behalf of the Greater Houston Dental Society and it’swonderful staff, I would like to welcome you to the 49th Annual Star of the South Dental Meeting!

Being the Chairman of the 2020 Star of the South, I would like to thank all of those who have been instrumental in making our meeting something to be proud of! They have worked diligently in providing a great lineup of speakers to meet all of your continuing education needs.

As a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society since 1996, I have always looked forward to seeing my classmates, team, and friends, at our amazing dental meeting.  Not only to expand our knowledge in our profession, this ever changing practice of dentistry, but to seek fellowship with our dental community is always most exciting to me!

As always we have provided quality speakers purveying all aspects of our profession.   I hope and challenge all dentists and their teams to attend Thursday and Friday, February 20-21, 2020.  Please spread the word and invite those colleagues who have not attended recently to join us and enjoy the Star!

The exhibit hall will be filled with unbelievable, state of the art technology, making dentistry of today more practical and convenient to our most precious members of our practice, our patients. You will see vast enhancements in the use of CBCTs, the newest materials and cutting edge equipment to help provide the best dentistry available.  Our future is now!  Today our beloved profession relies on the strength of our membership.

Relax after the meeting and socialize at our Exhibit Hall Happy Hour from 4-6pm daily.  Once again Thursday nights Mix and Mingle will provide the perfect time for meeting old friends and enjoying great food and music.

Please join us February 20-21, 2020 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.  A Star of the South Dental Meeting you won’t want to miss, as we take you “Back to the Future”!
